The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has announced that applications for electricity storage facilities will be accepted.

The announcement reminds that the legal infrastructure for electricity storage has been completed and it is stated that applications will be accepted as of October 21, 2021.

According to the announcement, the following applications can be made to the institution:

Pre-license for integrated electricity storage unit to the production facility,

Supply license for independent electricity storage unit,

Amendment of pre-license/license or supply license for adding integrated electricity storage unit to the production facility and independent electricity storage facility.
